How It Works

Three Simple Steps

The process is straightforward and fully confidential. Your individual financial information is seen only by the Financial Director — the Board sees only summative data.

Complete the Online Application

Fill out the secure JotForm application. It takes about 15–20 minutes. Have your household income figures and CRA Notice of Assessment handy.

Submit Your Notice of Assessment

Upload your CRA Notice of Assessment directly in the form, or email it to accounts@gaglardiacademy.ca. If dual income, both are required. No NOA = not approved.

Board Decision by June 20

Applications are reviewed confidentially by the Financial Director. You will be notified by phone or email. If approved, book an appointment with the Registrar to finalize your payment schedule.

Understanding the Program

⚠ Please Read Before Applying The total budget is set by the Board each year. Once fully allocated, no further applications can be approved. Reapplication is required every year — there are no automatic renewals. Maximum discount is 50% of tuition fees only. Student fees are not covered and must be paid in full. To maintain your assistance, tuition payments must remain current throughout the year.
🔒 Your Privacy Is Protected All information is held in strict confidence by the Financial Director. Only summative totals (not individual details) are shared with the Board. Applications and supporting documents are kept for one school year, then shredded.

Who Qualifies?

Please make this request only if it is genuinely needed. The greater the discount requested, the greater the financial disclosure required.

✓Sudden job loss without ability to replace income
✓Terminal or significant health crisis without ability to borrow
✓Marital breakdown without ability to replace income
✓Genuine inability to meet tuition after essential family expenses
✓Willingness to pay at least a portion of tuition

✗Ability to borrow or significant equity in real estate
✗Ability to liquidate non-essential assets or investments
